Partner with Stairway2Fast
Your students or viewers can loop and slow down difficult parts of your YouTube lessons for free, while recording practice time and speed so they can see their progress. Send us a link to your teaching. If we're a fit, we'll invite you to create a free account and give you six months of Pro to try. You can decide at any point whether to join the Partner Program.
For approved creators
- 6 months of Pro. Use the full tool in your own teaching and practice, on us. Your audience can still use the core practice features for free.
- 25% commission if you partner. Earn 25% of eligible Pro subscription payments from people who sign up through your partner link, including their renewals. There is no preset commission cutoff while your partnership is active.
Two simple steps
- Send one link. Email us a lesson, channel or teaching page. You do not need an account or an application form for this first conversation.
- Try Pro, then decide. If we're a fit, we'll ask you to create a free account or tell us the email on an existing one. Then we set up six months of Pro on that account. You can use it before deciding whether to partner. If you do, we confirm your partnership by email, activate your tracked link and Partner Dashboard, and tell you when sharing can begin.
Share in whatever way fits your teaching and audience. We do not require a sponsored video, a posting schedule or a script.
Your Partner Dashboard
Once your partner link is active, choose Partner Dashboard from your account menu in the app, or open it directly. It shows your referral link and QR tools, referred signups, paid conversions, and commissions still in the 60-day waiting period, ready to be paid or already paid. The figures are aggregated, so you do not see individual learners. Dashboard totals refresh daily.
Paste a YouTube video link into the dashboard's QR generator and the code opens a practice link with your referral code. A QR for your own website keeps that website address unchanged; it does not add a referral parameter to that URL.

Add a practice link to your website
If you show YouTube videos on your own website or course page, you can put an “Open with Stairway2Fast” link beside a video. Visitors can open that same video directly in practice mode. Replace the blue YouTube URL prefix below with the green Stairway2Fast prefix, keep the same ?v= and video ID, then add the green &ref= followed by your referral code.

If your video lessons share one page template, you may only need to update that template once.
If you add the partner link to your site's HTML, mark it with rel="sponsored". That search-engine signal does not replace a disclosure your visitors can see.
Here example is a placeholder. Your referral code is the string after ref= in the referral link shown in your Partner Dashboard. If you prefer not to edit URLs by hand, paste the YouTube URL into the dashboard's QR generator and copy the practice link it displays.
Your content, your choice
We do not prescribe how you recommend Stairway2Fast, and there are no required promotional tasks. We hope you will recommend it only after trying it yourself and genuinely finding it useful to you and your students or viewers. The ideas below are suggestions, not requirements. If it is not right for your audience, please tell us honestly.
If you do want to share it, choose what suits your teaching:
- Add a practice link to one difficult passage in an existing lesson, perhaps beside its chapter timestamp or in a pinned comment. A line in your own words is enough: “Stuck on this part? This free link lets you loop it and slow it down.”
- From your approved partner account, use Share on a song in your Library to share a loop, starting speed and optional practice note. Put its link or QR code on a student handout, or send it directly to a learner. Both open the chosen video in practice mode, not our homepage, with your referral code attached automatically.
- Share your Partner Dashboard referral link or its QR code on social media. If someone follows it and creates an account, that signup is attributed to you when yours was the first creator link they used.
- If making videos is your style, show how you use the tool in a video of your own. You can put your active referral link in the description or pinned comment, show that link as a QR code in the video, or do both.
- On your own website, put a link such as “Open with Stairway2Fast” beside a lesson or tab, so visitors can open your video in Stairway2Fast and start practising.
Our shared commitment
We make your benefits and referral terms clear before you decide. If you receive Pro access, commission or another benefit and choose to recommend Stairway2Fast, a clear disclosure helps your audience understand the relationship and helps you avoid avoidable problems. Disclosure expectations come from advertising laws and platform policies, not a special rule we created; they differ by location and platform.
For example, a visible Ad or #ad label beside a referral link is one way to make the relationship clear. Use the wording and placement appropriate where you publish. If your YouTube video itself qualifies as paid promotion, use YouTube's paid-promotion setting and check whether an on-video disclosure is needed too.
If you would rather share your own experience without a partnership disclosure in your content, you can use the free creator tools without joining the programme or accepting Pro access or commission from us. We value that independent recommendation too; but we cannot treat it as independent while giving you benefits in return.
FAQ
Do my students or viewers have to pay?
No. They can loop a passage, slow it down and start a practice record using the free core features. A Pro subscription is optional; commission is earned only if someone you referred chooses to pay for Pro.
Can I try Pro without becoming a partner?
Yes. If we give you six months of Pro, you can use it for your own teaching and practice without taking a referral link or promising to post. There is no card to add or subscription to cancel for that access. You can decide at any time whether to join the Partner Program. Pro lets you try features such as cloud sync and stem separation for files you upload yourself; your viewers can still practise with the free core tools.
What if none of my viewers pays for Pro?
That is fine. You can still use the agreed six months of Pro for lesson planning, teaching and your own practice, and send practice links so students can keep working with your lessons for free. Without eligible Pro payments, no commission accrues; we have no sales target.
Can I tell my audience the free version is enough?
Please do, if it gives them what they need. We would rather someone use the free tools than pay for features they do not need. Free use earns no commission, but you can still give them a direct route from a difficult passage in your lesson to a place to practise it.
What counts as a referral?
Someone who creates a Stairway2Fast account after arriving through your approved partner link. Clicks and visits alone do not count. Attribution goes to the first creator link they used. Activate your code before sharing: earlier links may not carry it, and signups through them may not be credited later. Your dashboard link and practice links shared from your approved account carry your code. Before sharing, check the copied link or the QR generator's displayed destination: the Stairway2Fast address should include ref= followed by your code. Once opened, the app removes ref= from the address bar; that is normal. The free QR maker on our creator tools page does not add a referral code.
What does the 25% apply to, and for how long?
You earn 25% of each eligible monthly or annual Pro subscription payment from people who sign up through your partner link, including renewals. There is no preset cutoff: while they keep paying for Pro and your partnership remains active, those eligible payments keep earning commission. Sales tax, refunded or reversed payments, and one-off purchases are excluded. The full mechanics are in our Partner Referral Terms.
How and when do I get paid?
Each commission becomes payable 60 days after the payment it came from. We settle monthly via Wise once your payable balance passes £20. That is a prompt for us to pay you, not a minimum: you can request a smaller payable balance at any time. Your dashboard separates commissions still in the 60-day waiting period from those ready to be paid and those already paid.
I don't speak in my videos. How would I explain this?
You do not need to change the way you make videos for us. Let the link do most of the explaining: a short note beside a chapter timestamp, in a pinned comment or in your lesson notes can say, “Practise this part here — loop it and slow it down for free.” On-screen text is another option if it suits your format.
Can I revoke a share or QR code after publishing it?
A per-song Share from your Library can be revoked in Settings → My shares. Its link and QR code point to the same share, so after revocation neither opens the prepared loop, speed and note. General referral links, direct video deep links and QR codes for other websites are not individual shares you can revoke in the app.
Can I stop sharing?
Yes. There is no posting schedule or minimum activity. You can stop sharing at any time without ending your partnership. While it remains active, eligible Pro subscription payments and renewals from people you previously referred continue to earn commission. If you want to end the partnership itself, tell us in writing. Commission already accrued up to the end date is still paid under the Partner Referral Terms.
